I think more special effects are needed to attract young audiences but we require a simpler video with less special effects to attract older audiences.

The characters should also wear bright clothings to attract the young children and they should also speak in simpler means.

Sound effects are a must for a movie being able to attract someone. Without sound, the people watching the movie will be bored to death. Special effects are also okay as it adds like a 'seasoning' to the movie, making the movie more interesting to the people watching. However, some of the special effects are just too fake and too obvious to spot when we are watching a movie like a bomb exploding in front or behind the male or female lead. Afterall, all these effects are not natural, and the real sounds and real happenings of the movies are still the best so that the people watching it can trust this movie and rate it above 3 stars.

The creative elements i need to attract someone to want to watch the video production should be to do with real life as only then will it be deemed as realistic. It should not so fake that people will not be interested as it cannot be related to daily life. For example, school bells ringing or crickets chirping in the silence at night. I also think that we can use different elements of sound from different places that our target audience can relate to. We can also use special effects that will intepret the mood that we want to create in the audience. For example,we can use a black and white effect on the film so that people will know that we are trying to create a very depressing effect.

I think in order for people to watch my video, producing realistic video is very important. people would want to see what is happening in the real life as it reflects on what our society had became over time. doing a video based on what is happening n the real life will tell people that Family is really important and do cherish them when they are around before you regret. This will be the part that attracts people to watch the video as it will be very touching. This will also promote the fact that more people are having lesser time to spend with their family and serve as a reminder for people to create more time to spend all the happy hour with their Family.

Creative sounds and effects such as the background sound of flashbacks can be used to attract people to watch our video production for the promotion of "Family".
These effects can be used because it helps the viewer to understand what the person in the video production is actually thinking and the viewer will also reflect on it. For example, the person in the video production is thinking on how he had let down his family and is reflecting upon it. The viewer might also reflect upon seeing the person in the video production reflecting upon himself. This can be able to let the viewers treasure their families more and hence be bonded closer.
I think that by adding sound and special effects, it engages the person .

I think that sound effects is the most important and is very necessary because the sound affects the mood of the viewer.If you play a sad song in a happy movie, most probably the viewer would become sad and the feeling would most probably be wrong because what you see does not really tally with what you see.So the video production of the "Family" would need to have sound effects to make sure that the viewers can feel what the emotion that the actors portray.

ReplyDeletei think that editing is very important because our video is recorded by scenes.therefore we need the ulead to do our editing so our video will not be in pieces.there are also some parts where we accidentally record some unwanted sounds in the background.so we need ulead to edit and take away those unwanted sounds and put in necessary ones.

One of them is to have special and sound effects so as to allow the video to be special, more interesting. It also makes the video production more unique as not a single movie can be exactly the same. For example, we can have the mysterious music to create a mysterious feeling. Some creative elements are: sound effects. Sound effects must be used to attract the attention of television watchers. This will make them interested to know what the video about. Scenes which depict famous actors or actresses will also invoke a feeling of interest in people. We have to put some joyful songs to tell everyone the importance and joyfulness of family . If there is music, people will find it nicer and more interesting as music is RELAXING . We must concentrate on the main topic which is "Family" so that others will not be confused because if our main topic was "Family" and yet we concentrate on other things, the video would be very confusing . The video must also be realistic and suitable for all ages . Last but not least, it cannot be too complicated and the audience should be able to know the morale of the story after watching the video.

ReplyDeleteSounds and special effects are definitely important. Firstly, the background music or some sounds like crashing will attract the viewers'attention to what is happening in that video. Plus, if the background music suddenly changed, it would create a very powerful effect and it would attract the viewers to further down watch the video. Secondly, special effects will also create an impact on a certain scene. For example, the speed of a certain scene suddenly becomes slower. This may create different impact compared to when the speed is constant throughout the whole video. Effects such as black and white can also create a effect like flashback.

When it is at a very exciting part, without those background sounds, the viewers will not feel the excitement that is suppose to be. With those sound effects and background sounds, viewer will have more feeling of excitement and interest to the video. In the video production of 'Family', some flashbacks are also needed. i think special effects are essential for a viedo to capture the attention of the viewers.A movie without any sound effect would be very dull as there would be no excitement, for example the video has reached the climax but there's no tense music so there seem to be something lacking.If the video production "family" has no special effects and music, it would be just like any other movie that might not captivate the viewers because there is no selling point that made it seem different from the other videos. Hence, for the video, perhaps at the point where they show the family's care and love, some touching and soothing music can be inserted to create an imapct, a deep impression in the viewers heart, to emphasize on the love.it can also let the viewers to reflect on their relationship with their family.It must also be simple so that people of all age group would understand and want to watch it.

ReplyDeleteI think creative elements (sound, special effects etc)are necessary. It can be used to capture the audience attention. It also add the effect to make the audience mesmerise by the show. It will be a success if the sound effects are in a movie that captured the attention of little kids. This allows young children to be 'advertisement'. Children will remember those creative element and may copy the some parts of the movie. They will keep repeating and it will be like a 'free advertisement' for the movie. Adding the sound effect and etc, can show the audience clearly what they really meant and to what extend (happy/sad). If those creative elements are excluded, the movie will be very dull and boring. Creative elements will make layers of meanings to the movie and thus this may let even teachers to be interested in it. It do not need to be very complicated as it may confused the audience. The production will be understand by all age groups. :)

Many special effects are like sound effects, they can actually be used to attract more audiences towards our movies. With some sound effects would make them pay more attention on our movies. Maybe we can compare a movie with sound effects and another one without any. The one with sound effects obviously would be able to get more audiences attention. Examples. We can actually insert a happy tune into the part where happy stuffs comes in. Many be for sad one, we can put a sad music into the part where the sad scene would com in.
ReplyDeleteUnlike the sound effects, I think the special effects would not stands out too much and it might be trying to move the audiences' attention into other places rather than the movie we are trying to show the audiences.It can be said in two ways, i think more good rather than bad. The special effects we might be using can be the word or the phrase being inserted into the movie scene or something else which might be affecting the movie. In my opinion, I think I would just leave the movie as original with some movie editing.
Some special can also be useful, like fast forward. It create some kind of feel that time had past very fast and example maybe from a few thousand years ago to now? We can use the fast forward method so as to achieve giving the audience a fast time movement feeling.
In overall,I think I would still use both of the effects even though special effects would have some disadvantages.

Personally, I think that sounds and computer effects are very important as the different types of music put in the background will affect the whole atmosphere of the scene in the movie. For example, if we put the character stunned on the spot with thunder sound and lightning flashing in the background, it means that the character had gotten a great shock and was stupefied. Another case is that you can put a person kneeling onto the floor, sobbing with the surrounding in total darkness and a spotlight shining on her. Behind, will be accompany by sad song mean that the character is very sad etr.

I think the way to attract the viewers' attention is to have a special favorite quote or movement for some characters of the video. Viewers will remember the video better because of these small little movements and quotes by the characters of the video. Some funny words spoken or actions by the characters may lead the viewer to be curious about it and will want to watch the video. For example, many people especially teenagers, know about the famous auntie lucy who always shakes her head very dramatically because of her habit. At first i did not watch her show, but due to many friends imitating her action. I became curious and decided to watch the show.

Music is a form of entertainment for all of us. when there are music, we will be better attracted and will be totally engaged in the video.

Having a subtitle will be good. if the show is in Chinese, even other races will understand if there are english subtitle. sometimes, scene are noisy and we cannot hear what the characters are talking about, we can see the subtitle and still understand the storyline.

We can attract them by using scenes that are close to our hearts. We can use every day events to show that our parents love us. For example, they work hard every day for us, they cook for us, they cover our blankets over us when we are asleep and they nag at us. For us teenagers and children, this scene is dear to our hearts as they are things that our parents do unknowingly for us that we both do not notice. Simple messages such as this can portray a feeling of togetherness and allow the viewers to think about themselves and to come to the realisation that our parents are the ones who brought us up into this world. We can attract others by including the different kind of shots in our video like, close shot, establishing shots which are taught in our art class. We can also use some real life examples to give the person the right impression and agrees on what we are telling them. The attire the actor or actress wore must also be related to the video . Some sound effects can be used in it to created more effect and leave a greater impression in one's mid when he/she watch our video and eventually able to get what we wanted to tell them.
