I will use both traditional and multi-media methods to promote my video. I use traditional methods as they include newspaper,magazines which elderly and middle-age people will read. I use multi-media methods as teenagers nowsaday will not read nwspapers any more and instead, use the computer more. This way I can get people of all ages to view my video.

Some people may prefer to read newspapers while others prefer to surf the net.I can also use place advertisements at bus stops so that when people are waiting for the bus, they can look at the advertisements there. I especially choose multi-media methods, putting up on nets, posting on blogs and even making a movie trailer to be put on the television. Nowadays people depends on multi-media more. Example like watching television and using the computer - surfing the net. Normally are people of all ages. I would also choose traditional method because some people do not watch television or use their computer oftenly. They would maybe grab a magazine up and read, so maybe I could put the advertisement about my movie on magazines. It would really help me to promote my movie.

Hence by promoting our video by multi-media methods, more youngsters and adults will know more about our video. However, some people like the elderly, would rather read the newspapers instead. I will use both the traditional and multi-media methods to promote my video. Normally, most elderly and most businessmen will read newspapers or magazines, and so they will be able to know my video and maybe watch it. Multi-media methods are used to promote the video to those teenagers as they will normally surf the net in search of movies or games to play or watch. I can also post an advertisement at those shopping malls that many people will surely go to as housewives or families go shopping during family days. Anyway, there are many ways to advertise a video as long as you can think of a way.

ReplyDeleteI would put up advertisements on newspapers and magazines. I would also put up commercials on televisions and on radios. By doing it his way everybody will be able to know about my video. Papers will be distributed to everyone's homes, and most people will read the newspaper, so most people will know about the video. For those who do not read the newspaper, they can know about the video through the television, radio or the magazines. People can also know about the video through the paper put on the trays of fast food restaurants when the people buy some food.

I would use both traditional and multi-media methods to promote the theme, 'My Family'. I want to use both as it will maximise viewership. This few mediums will appeal to both teenagers and working adults as teenagers are more modern and like to watch the television programmes and surf the internet However, this may not appeal to adults as much as they have to work and may not have time to do these things. However, many working adults read the newspaper as a source of information and this medium of advertisement would appeal to them more. But, it may not be just as effective on teenagers as teenagers generally do not really care about latest happenings in the world, or in finance. I would also create flyers of posters to be given out and posted at public places where many people can be located, such as the MRT station. This idea will then appeal to both the adults and teenagers as many people use public transport to go back home from their workings places or their schools. Therefore i would use both the mediums, multi-media and traditional, so that it would be even more appealing to the public of Singaporeans generally.

I would promote my video using both traditional and multi-media methods to achieve a better viewership as the more you advertise, the more other people would take notice of it and be curious to know what it is about. Newspaper and magazines has a group of people reading it daily to keep up with the latest information and news, when I put up an advertisement there, they can easily spot it. Youngsters nowadays spent more of their time in front of televisions and computers, so it would be effective if I post it on a particular website and on the television. I can also play a trailer of it on the small televisions found in mrt stations and bus. People can watch it while waiting for the train or arriving at their destination.

I think I could use both the traditional and the multi-media methods or advertising my video to archive a higher audience rates as some of the older generation of people prefer reading magazines, newspapers and maybe I could also gives out fliers about my video. On the other hand, I plan to use the multi-media method of advertising on the television, internet, on the MRT stations and trains, buses and last but not least, radio. I purposely use this way of advertising is because lots of the younger generation prefer surfing the net, going to Facebook, Youtube and many other websites. Most of us will watch or listen to the radio regardless of our age so this will be good ways to advertise my video too as our final purpose were to promote the importance of Family and there must be communication between one another. There are thousands of people who take MRT and buses everyday, so while waiting for trains to arrive or waiting to reach to your destination, people will watch the small trailer and they will know about my video.

I think we could use the best of both worlds as there are different types of people who read different kinds of media in the country. I will introduce new kinds of advertisements in the MRT stations and maybe in the form of 3D illusions in shopping centres. I would also use tried-and-tested methods such as flyers and advertisements on the TV. More people are increasing their reliance on the computer and the Internet, and thus taking advantage of these platforms would have more people taking note of the video.

Now, many people would use the computer and the internet as we have arrived into the twenty-first century already. Many people like adults and the teenagers would use computer during their free time either is to play games or to do their own other work. The multimedia mehod would come in here. In this kind of situation, the multimedia method of advertising would be very useful. Since there are so many people using the computers and watching the television, I think the multimedia method would be able to attract more people towards my video if I am going to use the multimedia method. I think the people would would be most likely being attracted would be the teenagers since they are more likely the users of computers and the televisions.

I would promote the videos using any means possible. Using social networking websites such as facebook twitter or as I have already said, any means possible. Also traditional methods like advertisement through newspaper and radio also works but also not to forget spreading through the word of mouth as every single method works regardless of how effective it actually is. For example we can use YouTube to spread our videos. We do know that YouTube actually has over one million views per day so that there would be at least a few views. We can also first send the video link to our friends so that our videos might get spread out though words of mouth. Also when using a traditional method such as magazine. Readers will probably be curios and might decide to watch it out of curiosity so I can say that both traditional and multi-media methods works

Our parents always look at the sections that are different to ours as we have different views and interest than others. Moreover, there are fewer chances of the family sitting together reading a newspaper than that of the family watching a comedy on the television. When they are together, it is easier for them to realise that family is very important and that we should treasure and appreciate them for what they have done for us.

I would use the television by advertising it by showing some scenes which has a great impact. Thus when viewers see it, they will get interested and they will try and watch it. If they like it, they will tell their friends thru word of mouth thus this creates maximum viewership. Another tool i would use to promote maximum viewership is the radio. The Advertisements will have sound clips thus the clips are played thru the radio and when that happens people will listen to what they are saying rather than to what they are doing. thus thru this they get to know the storyline of it thus they will become more interested.

I would probably use advertisements to air on the television as people would watch the television almost everyday and thus, it would be easier to let them be aware and the trailer of the video includes alot of sound effects which could attract viewers on tv advertisements, i would probably use only this method as others like putting up posters or giving out flyers would be a waste of time and paper as nowadays, people do not care about such flyers or posters and would probably throw them away and this can cause a greater harm to our precious earth. Newspaper would also be a bad choice as the newspaper do not have colours and the details would not be very clear.
