I feel cyber bullying is a major crime and it should be avoided at all cause. It is much worser then physical bullying. Cyber bullying can cause much hurt and stress to the person.
ReplyDeleteWe should also not give a wrong idea to children or anyone who see the video. We should provide better morals then just provide the wrong ideas. It may hurt someone.
Brian Tee (36)
I think people should not misuse vulgarities in videos because young audiences would also be one of the major groups watching it and they would learn from the video and thus be a bad influence on others.
ReplyDeleteI think people should also not use videos that have been used by other people as that would be not completely your effort and instead you would be using someone elses and using it for yourself to claim the credit.

There are many things that we should not add in our video. One of them is vulgarities. If vulgarities is used in the video, the people watching it will be learning the words and maybe teaching them to be bad. Another thing we should not add into our video is faking information. For example, the children watching the video found out that we should kill whales, then they may also think that killing whales is a must. When they grow up, they may kill whales and when the government finds out, the goverment will arrest them for committing a crime which can affect their futture lifes forever.

After being through the making of the video, I feel that cyber-bullying should not take place and should not be condoned. Cyber bullying is hurtful and may cause emotional hurt to the victim. This may result in depression for the victim and serious consequences for the bully. I feel that another important thing we learnt from the production of the video is that the video should be suitable for the target audience. Therefore if the video is meant for children, we should not include any vulgarities or other examples of bad influence. Instead we should promote the virtues of our own video's motive which is 'Family'.

I feel that cyber bullying on videos should be banned and prohibited as it will cause viwers to feel uncomfortable anddisgusting. Cyber bullying will also cause the person to feel really stress up and uncomfortable if many people watched the video and recognise him/her. They will be very embarrased and they will be shooed by friends. Children who watched the video will be influenced and they will do the same thing on another person. This will continue on if the law did not step in to stop.
ReplyDeletei feel that by using videos that others made to post it up and show it to the public, it is infringing to the copyright law. We should not do it as it is other people's hard work. It would be unfair to them if the video posted up is causing them to have a lesser profit than they expected.

Vulgarities must not be used when filming. this is because most of the watchers of TV is usually children. everybody would not like their children learn how to use this kind of words and would not allow them to watch this video. this will not be good for the publicity of the video.
ReplyDeletewe should not make use of other people's video as this would waste their efforts. should scene of people committing suicide would is also a form of encouragement for people who are depress to also take their lives.

I think that one of the things that we shouldn't add in our video is the use of violence. If we add violence into our video, viewers might think that we are promoting family violence and they will also develop family violence. Thus, we cannot add family violence into our video. Another thing we cannot add in our video is the use of vulgarities. If we use vulgarities, young children who views our videos will learn the vulgarities and they will be very uncivilized.
ReplyDeleteThere are many things we have to take note of when we are doing video, and we shouldn't misuse it. For instance, saying something bad about others production. This will result in bad reputation of your own products as others will sue you for tarnishing their reputation. Another example will be violence. We shouldn't use violence in the video as this will reflect badly on ourselves. We will bring bad influence on the children. Another thing, which is one of the most important, no copyrighting. This is because people can sue you for using and copying their efforts without their permission, and your video will be banned.
ReplyDeleteOng Yue Yu (15) 1-2
Cyber bulling, excessive violence and vulgarities should not be used when filming. Most of TV's audiences are children, and if such things would to appear infront of them, they might get greatly influenced by it and try to be like those people in the TV shows. No parent would want their child to go "bad", and I suppose that if ur a parent, you won't too. This is why such things should be probihited from videos. The appearance of gore shows like committing suicide, horror shows and scenes of people dying should also be greatly decreased. Most adults think that the children now are our future, and so we should not go against their wishes and fulfill it instead.

I think that we should not make use of video production to 'attack' somebody for revenge or just because you do not like the person. This is cyber-bullying, the word 'bullying' in this word speaks the whole meaning. If people were misuse their video production skills to make somebody feel bad, that would be really displeasing.
ReplyDeleteI think it the bully may feel upset and hurt or maybe depressed. This will be very unfavorable to the victim. Even though the bully may just feel a sense of achievement or so. Wont their conscious 'attack' them.
Thus i feel that we should not misuse video production by cyber-bullying.

ReplyDeleteWe should not have any violent content in the video as it may affect the thinking of the children who watch the video. Vulgarities are not to be shown in the video as people who watch it may start to learn the vulgarities and use it to scold people. We also should not copy others video as it will infringed the copyright and this is illegal. In Singapore, a country which follow laws, will not allow this surely and we are Singaporeans, so we should not do this kind of illegal act.

we should not include vulgarities or violent content in our videos.if we do that, the people watching the video may learn the vulgarities and use them in their daily life.some videos are targetted on children.if there are vulgarities and violent content, those children watching the video may learn from it and grow up to be a violent child.to prevent that from happening, the best is not to add vulgarities and violent content.i think that cyber bullying is unacceptable.physical bullying is bad enough, but cyber bullying is extremely wrong.some people find comfort on the internet, if you cyber bully them, they may find that they have no place to turn to.in conclusion, both bullying, either physically or in cyberspace is wrong.

I think we should not include violence and vulgarities in videos as they would be a negative influence to younger kids. Especially videos which viewers are mostly children, all the more these contents should not be included as children, some being ignorant, learn what they see in the show as they spent most of their time in front of the television, they will turn to using them in their daily life. And this will cause a negative impact on the child's growth. There should not be cyber-bullying in the videos as the youngsters may imitate the acts and do the same on their friends. The friend would be treated like an outcaste and may do extreme things to escape from misery, resulting in serious and foolish actions. Another thing i think should be seriously look upon is copyrights. the producers shoud not copy the contents of another video and include it in their own work as it is not their ideas, not their efforts and hence it would be unfair for the original producer.
ReplyDeleteSylvia Gwee Xiao Wei(17) 1-2
After my experience in video production,I think that one should not use vulgarities when producing their own videos. When children are watching television, they might learn the vulgarities from the videos. The children might use them in their daily lives.I think that there should not be any cyber bullying in the videos production too because small children might learn from the video production and apply them in their daily lives.Their actions might cause a bad impression on people.Their friends might also dislike them and the children might end up with very little friends. They might feel very sad.
ReplyDeleteChai Hui Yee (2)
Cyber-bullying should not be used in the video because it might hurt the victim’s feelings or make him/her feel sad or depressed. Moreover, people of all ages might be watching the video and if cyber-bullying is used, children or teenagers might have the impression that since it can be used in a video, why can’t they? Hence, they will start to use it in their daily lives and hurt others. Also, it will create a bad impression on elders as the video shows that people can cyber-bully others. This goes for lying as well. Thus, I feel that we should not misuse cyber-bulling or lying in our video production.
ReplyDeleteNurul Ain(14) 1-2
I think that the video most importantly should not give the wrong idea that taking drugs or cyber bullying is very “cool” where you are brave enough to break the laws and do things that your friends did not dare to. I think that it is instead very stupid as cyber bullying not only will get you into trouble with the laws but you will also hurt someone psychologically, causing them to have a psychological barrier between them and the society, unable to trust anyone again and feel inferior when standing beside someone. Also, if we take drugs, it will not only be harmful to our body, waste money, but we will also lose our friends as I think they did not like to mix with a person who took drugs.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, there should not have any vulgarities in the video. As we do not know who are watching our video, if we put in the vulgarities and the children start learning to speak them, the result will be disastrous. We also should not put in fake information if we are filming a historical video. True, the video may become more interesting but it will pass the wrong historical information to the viewers and may have indirectly insulted the descendants of the person you are talking about.
Last but not least, we should not use other people production and claim it as part of our own product as this not only show disrespect to the creator and they can sue you for violating their copyright, causing your video to be banned from showing.

I feel that violence scene should be avoided in the production of videos. As video are meant to be watched by people of all ages, it may influence the children and teenagers watching the videos. They would start to learn from what they see in the video and that is not what the producer or we want. Hence, violence scene should be avoided in the production of the video. Vulgarities should also be avoided for the same reason. This is very serious as this may affect how people view the children and teenagers in school or outside. As they think it is very cool to use vulgarities, they might use it often too. Hence, vulgarities should not be used in the video too.

Everything that is unpleasant should not be used as it is neagative. They should not be used in the videos. These can include the vulgarities, the violence, cyber bullying and many many other more that people would use to hurt or to piss other people off.
ReplyDeleteVulgarities is somekind of language that is usually used to scold or insult someone. It is very rude and should be prevented by using it. Violence should not be used too. We know that videos are to be seen by audiences. Some small kids would be watching too. They are very blur and might just learn from what they see and what they hear. Violence and Vulgarities should be prevented if not many kids would be brought up in a negative environment. They would become gangsters when they grow up. This cases would not happen so vulgarities and violence should be banned in videos.
Shaoyang (39) 1-2
I think people should not use vulgarities in videos. This may influence the younger generations. The kids may follow the vulgarities and this is not good for them as well as the society. We should not. I mean we must not use cyber-bullying in the videos and not personal attacks. Victims have lower self-esteem, increased suicidal ideation, and a variety of emotional responses. Cyber bullying may cause a victim begins to avoid friends and activities and this led to troubles. Violence should also be excluded out of the video. Violence may cause people to turn violent.

I think people should not misuse vulgarities in videos because this would cause a bad influence on the younger generations. The young audiences would be one of the major groups watching it, so if they heard the vulgarities, they may follow and learn them. It is not good for them and it is very serious as this may affect how people view the children and teenagers in school or outside. They may think that it is very cool to use vulgarities, so they might use it often. Hence, vulgarities should not be used in the video.
ReplyDeleteViolence should also not be present in the production of videos. Videos are meant to be watched by people regardless of age, so it may influence the children and teenagers if they watch the videos. They are still young and learning, so if they see violence, they may not know the seriousness of it and may think that it is cool. Thus, they would then start to learn from what they see in the video and use it in real life. Hence, violent scenes should be avoided in the production of any video.
We should not use other people's video production and claim it as part of our own product. They are not taken by us so it is not our effort. It will be using someone else's video and claiming their credit. This will not only show disrespect to the creator and they can sue us for violating their copyright too, causing the video to be banned from showing.
Last of all, we should not add fake information into our video. If someone watches the video and thinks that it is true, they will learn from it. This could the lead to serious problems. For example, if the video contains a certain part about history, but the history information is fake and the worst thing is that the viewer does not know and even thinks that it is true, the viewer may learn from it. If the viewer is a history teacher, he will teach his students about the information. Since the students do not know that is fake, they will listen to their teacher and learn from it. This may then lead to serious problems. When they teach others, they will then educate others the wrong information and during examniation, if they used the information as the answer for the examination, they may fail as the information is untrue. Therefore, we should not misuse information in our videos.

I think that anything that is socially negative or unaccepted like violence, vulgarities, insults, should not be used in the video.
ReplyDeleteElements like cyber bulling can be used PROVIDED if it is part of the storyline, for example, teaching children how to deal with cyber bullying could be used.
But it is wrong to misuse it as young children of the society might emulate the behaviour in the videos.
The video should be suitable for people of all ages. Since its aim is to target the biggest group of people possible, everyone should be able to watch the video.
Young kids are like sponges - they absorb what they see. Hence we should not be putting inappropiate things like vulgarities and violence in the video.
Lastly, speaking from experience, Cyber bullying should, never, be miused in the video. I got cyber bullied by someone in the past, and it did'nt feel good. Moreover, the person thinks that it is wrong.
This person should listen to your ML lessons.

We must not use vulgarities in videos. The younger generation might be influence and might even follow the vulgarities used in the videos. Learning these vulgarities would also not benefit them with anything in the society in future.
ReplyDeleteThere should also not be any violent scene in the video as it might influence the young generation and lead them astray making them think that fighting could solve problems. They might grow up to become some kind of gangster. They might also become a violent person.
We should also not have personal attacks as it could cause one to lose their confidence and have low self-esteem.
In conclusion I think that a video should not have scene which consist of things that would not benefit the viewers.

Vulgarities should not be used in the videos. If the younger generations, for example, 3-year-old children, watch the video, when they grow older, they would most probably use these vulgarities against other people, which causes a negative impact on them.
ReplyDeleteViolent scenes are also should not be allowed in the videos. When younger children watch the videos, they would grow to become people would uses a lot of violence to solve their problems.
Thus, vulgarities and violence should not be used in videos as these would promote negative impact on most of the people who watch them.
Kong Chun Teck (30) 1-2
I feel that we should not introduce negative influences in our videos as this may lead younger viewers into thinking these acts are "cool" and acceptable in society, like lying, spewing out vulgarities, etc. We should also not abuse the platform of media for cyber bullying as this is immoral and against the law.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we have to have exceptions with these "rules of video making". For example, for making a video about cyber bullying, some form of "bullying" has to be made. However, we should try to view it in a different light such that it gives a view that cyber bullying is not worth it.
Therefore, in all cases, we should moderate our use of media or more in detail video making. We should be advocating good values to the people using media, not mislead them into wrong and unjust values.
Zenneth Lim Zen Wei (40) 1-2
I think that we should not make use of vulgarities in movies as they may be watched by young people and they may think that using vulgarities is okay and influence them.
ReplyDeleteI also think that we should not take video from others, edit a tiny little bit and then claim that it is your own work. In this case, you are claiming the credit even though it isn't your work.
I also think that we should not use too much violence in movies especially if the movie was made for young children to watch.

I think that we should not misuse cyber bullying when producing our video. When other people see our video, they might learn how to cyber bully others. This will cause the victim to feel hurt and sad. They might also feel depressed and develop low self-esteem.
ReplyDeleteWe also should not misuse vulgarities and violence in our video as young children will be influenced and will learn from what they see or hear. They will be led astray because of our video and they will not know the seriousness of using vulgarities or being violent.
Chua Siew Wen (5) 1/2
I feel that in our video production, there should not be any vulgarities or faken information. The power of media is very strong and the television, internet or the radio influences the people that are watching or heraing it. If there are vulgairities in the video that we are producing and the video shows during advertisements, children and maybe even adults would start picking it up as they are hearing it every 5 or 10 minutes. And this may cause a very bad influence as the viewers are learning something which is not really good. Hence we should be careful on what we are putting on air as it would influence either positively or negatively depending on what we put.
ReplyDeleteteohuiyuh(18)1-2
In my opinion , cyber bullying is much more worse than physical bullying . It causes serious damage to a person although it is not shown physically .
ReplyDeleteAlso, a video should not use vulgarities . By using vulgarities, small little children might follow it and it has a bad influence on them .
We should also have our own originality , and do not take other peoples' work and claim that it is yours . If we were to take their works, we should put the credits .
Claudia Yip (21)
I feel that a video production should not have any vulgarities. It will mislead audience to misuse them. A video can attract people's attention easily, so when people hear word spoke often in a video, they tend to copy them. If any vulgarities are used, it will influence people who listened to pick up and follow what they say.
ReplyDeleteCyber bullying should not be used in a video. It will cause people to be hurt, angry and sad.
Koh Jing Xuan(7) 1-2
I feel that there should not be vulgarities in the video. When children watched the video, they may learn those vulgarities from the videos. They will use them in their daily lives and will cause a bad impression on others. They will end up have friends that are gangsters and become one too.
ReplyDeleteThere should also not be any violent scene in the video. It might influence the younger children and will make them feel that violence can solve problems. They might grow up to become gangster and become a violent person.
Claudia Choo (04) 1-2
We should not use sensual stuff in our video as not only adults are watching, teens are also watching, all this video may get them to do something bad like having strong desire to have sex or even thought of raping if they join the gangs. all this immoral act will destroy our effort in making world a crime-free place where we can walk without streets light.
ReplyDeleteTjhi Tjung Lieon(37)

Any form of acts that are considered immoral or unfitting for younger audience should not be used. Instead, we should instil good values that teach children not to fall prey to the sins and vices or any human desires. We should also respect the copyright thing as people spend time and effort to make an original production just as we did and that lets us know that it is heart-wrenching if anyone just copies our video and distributes it around. Acts that are considered immoral can be profanities, content of sexuality, lying, stealing. This is just a small list of many and there is other that can affect children.
ReplyDeleteLiew Yi Hang 31

In the video, one should not include violence, profanities, or other contents which young kids and teenagers are not suitable to be viewed by them. We should include more moral values and the right way to act in our daily life. We should also not copy or adapt from other sources as we should respect the effort to produce their video. Thus, we should always come up with our own ideas and produce a truthful video.
ReplyDeleteCyber-bullying is like bullying . its hurts a person mentally and physically .cyber-bullying is against the law and it would lead children and teenagers to do the wrong stuffs when they saw this type of videos. We should not include stuffs that are fake, pervertic or violence in our video so it would be suitable for all ages. if a kid sees a pervertic , fake or violent video , he might think that the actors in the video are doing the right things so he / she will follow . We should include moral values like being humble, honest, helpful, etc. in this way , the children and teenagers will learn to do the right things instead of the wrongs.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, here is a good example of how things can go.
